In the conversion of these original 1846 stables into a fully functioning dwelling nothing was standard from the toughed glass facing a tennis court to hand selected beams that were free of knots. Initial works involved demolishing and rebuilding the first level floor frame 300mm lower to create more headroom to accommodate the master bedroom. Further construction involved a new kitchen, completing the existing bathroom and refurbishing the roof structure. Throughout the project care was taken with each component to so successfully bring it into the 21st century.
